Water Polo Blue Out

The Cougar Water Polo program continues to swim past competition in the pool this year as both the boys and girls look for their 3rd straight District Championships.

Tuesday night, 9/24 will be our annual Blue Out, and we will serve pizza to students who attend the game.

If you have never attended, this would be a great time to start.  Both teams sit at 7-0, and with a win, the girls will clinch a Championship Tuesday night.  The boys still need to win both Tuesday and Friday to clinch outright, but a win Tuesday will clinch a tie.

The Cougars have dominated the pool for years, but water polo didn’t become a UIL sport until the fall of 2022.  The Cougars won the inaugural district championship that year, and then added a repeat in 2023.

Coach Chandler has the Cougars playing well again as we head down the stretch.  Both teams are 7-0, and looking to complete another district sweep.
