Hi Cougar Fans,
Another great year of Cougar athletics is coming to an end, and we have a lot to be proud of again! It was another great year for the Cougars!
One last event will be the Football Spring Game which is Thursday night. JV starts at 6 and varsity starts at 7 at Cy Creek. We will have hot dogs, concessions, and Cougar gear available some come out and have a great time!
As I mentioned, we had a lot of success as an athletic program this year, and it was across all of our programs!
- Boys Golf qualified for the state tournament for the 2nd year in a row, and finished #10 overall in the entire state!
- Boys Soccer reached the regional finals, and was 1 goal from the state semifinals
- Girls Water Polo again reached the state tournament and finished #6 in the state.
- 4 teams won district championships: Girls and Boys basketball, Boys Soccer, and Girls Water Polo
- Girls basketall won a bi-district championship for the 5th year in a row
- Boys basketball won an area championship for the 2nd year in a row, and made the playoffs for the 6th straight year
- Volleyball won a bi-district championship for the 2nd year in a row and made the playoffs for the 4th year in a row
- Softball and baseball were both in the playoff race until the final games of the year
- Football missed the playoffs by a game with the youngest roster in all of class 6A football
- Track had multiple athletes win district championships and qualify for both area and regionals
- Tennis improved on their win total from a year ago, and had several strong individual performances
