Cougar Sports Update – November 2025

Hey Cougar Fans!  

Happy Fall Cougar Fans! It is great to finally get some cooler weather as we head into fall. The cooler weather means it is the start of basketball season, and we have games starting this weekend!

Here’s what is happening in Cougar Sports:

Football:  

The Cougars close out the season Friday night at Pridgeon vs Jersey Village at 7 PM. This is always a big game for bragging rights so make sure to get out and support the Cougars 1 more time. Canes will be hosting our students again after the game. We had a great turnout last month after the Ridge game, and the students had a great time!

Girls Basketball:

The ladies open the season Friday night at home against CE King. We have played very well in our preseason scrimmages, and are excited for what this season has in store. You do not want to miss any of the action.

Boys Basketball:

The defending 17-6A champs will open the season with back to back hone games on 11/14 and 15. This is a new era of Cougar basketball as Coach Benitez takes over the program. We return a lot of talent, and will be right in the mix for a championship in a very competitive district.

Soccer season is right around the corner so keep an eye out for updates.
