Hi Cougar Fans,
Happy Halloween and Happy Fall. Cougar Athletics are going strong, and we have a lot going on so I want to give you some updates:
Dunk or Treat:
This is one of our largest community events of the year. It is fun for kids of all ages. Have them get their costumes, and come to Creek for candy, games, and to meet our basketball teams. All the candy is free. Bahama Bucks will be selling sno cones, and we will have concessions available as well.
It is Friday night at Creek from 6:30 until 8. Game 1 will also be on a TV so you won’t miss anything!
Flags:
This is the last week to order a flag for your yard before Veteran’s Day. This is our largest fundraiser, and it also looks great to have all of the flags out throughout the area! You can order your flag at the link below:

Water Polo:
What an amazing year for our water polo teams. This was the first year to ever be a UIL sport, and both the girls and boys had amazing seasons. Out of all the 6A schools in Texas, both of our teams reached the Elite 8. Both teams dropped heartbreaking games to Foster in the regional finals. If you ask me, I believe that we are the 2nd best team in the state, and the game against Foster was the real state championship. Congrats to both of those teams, and they have a bright future!
Volleyball:
The regular season concluded Tuesday night with another Cougar win. The Cougars finished 10-4 in district play, and will be the 3 seed out of the district. Our playoff game is set for Tuesday night, 11/1, at 7 PM at Delmar Fieldhouse. We take on a very good Heights team. Get out and support the Cougars as they make a playoff run!
Football:
With 2 weeks to go, we are right in the mix for a playoff spot. We are 2-3 and currently 1 game out of 4th. We play 2 very winnable games while the teams above us play each other. If the Cougars take care of business, we will be right in the mix at the end of the season. If you want to know who to cheer for, we need Memorial to lose, and Jersey Village to beat Stratford
Thank you for all of the support this year. Basketball, Wrestling, and Soccer are all right around the corner so follow us on all of our social media for schedules and updates!
Thanks!
