The purpose of the Cypress Creek Athletic Booster Club scholarship program is to recognize a graduating student athlete(s) with a one-time monetary award to offset the costs of higher education. Applicants will be considered based on athletic participation and achievement, good sportsmanship, citizenship, and engagement in school/community service. Students must meet the graduation requirements of CFISD. Any graduating senior of Cypress Creek High School who has participated in varsity high school level athletics for at least one season during their time at CCHS will be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
For the 2022-2023 academic year CCABC will be awarding (4) $2,000 one-time scholarships based on the following:
- Be presently a senior at CCHS and have participated in the VHSL-approved athletics program (at any time during your enrollment at CCHS)
- Have had no athletic or school suspensions (in school or out of school)
- Submit a completed application, including Essay and Coach’s Recommendation form
The Scholarships will be awarded at the 2023 Senior Awards Night Ceremony the evening of May 15th. While attendance is not mandatory it is highly encouraged to attend if receiving an award.
As a condition to being awarded a scholarship, each scholarship recipient must sign and return an “Acceptance of Scholarship Agreement” form. In this agreement, the recipient will represent that they intend to attend a college or university that meets the requirements of the scholarship and that they will provide the CCABC with the name and address of such college or university. This information will be used to issue the CCABC scholarship check made payable to such college or university.
