I hope you are having a great week, and staying dry with all of this rain! This is an exciting week at Cy Creek as we have the big homecoming game coming up friday! Not only is it homecoming, but it is Cy-Fair, and it is their homecoming! It is going to be a great night at Pridgeon Friday so you don’t want to miss it!
Flags:

Cross Country:
The Cougars are running great this year! We have both boys and girls that are placing in events, and we are excited to see how they fair in districts coming up. They are doing a great job with this program.
Football:
The Cougar offense has been on a roll the last 2 weeks, and the defense has been able to get key stops, especially on the 2 point conversion late versus Eisenhower. The competition takes a big step up this Friday night against Cy-Fair. The Cougars are 1-0 in district and Cy-Fair is coming off a surprising loss where they had 4 turnovers. They will come in hungry for a win.
This is homecoming for both teams so it is going to be a great atmosphere. If you haven’t been to a game yet, this is the one to attend! We need a packed Cougar crowd friday night.
At 4:50 on Friday, we will meet at Creek to send off the players as they get on the bus. Sonic is providing food, and we will have shoe polish and streamers to decorate cars before heading to Pridgeon.
Volleyball:
The Cougars picked up a huge win over Memorial in 5 sets last night! That moves the Cougars to 4-2 in district play, and only 1 game out of 1st place. We have a huge game against Jersey Village at 4:30 on Friday to finish out the 1st round of district. The Cougars are coming together at the right time, and it is going to be an exciting race for the playoffs.
Tennis:
Tennis was rained out yesterday, and will face Memorial this afternoon.
